Evaluation

Wally does a lot for our team, and the next step in his growth is using film to better understand the strategy, situations, and decisions that happen during games. As his teammates continue to improve, he needs to trust them more while learning the flow of the game—when to shoot, when to pass, and when to let the play develop. Developing one reliable go-to move and a counter will also give him something he can confidently use in important late-game situations.

Implementation

For implementation, Wally should watch 15 minutes of his own game film 2–3 times a week, focusing on his decisions and what the defense was showing him. He should spend 10–15 minutes, 3 times a week developing one go-to move and a counter that he can use under pressure. In practices and games, his goal should be to slow down mentally, trust his teammates, and use what he sees on film to make better decisions within the flow of the game.
