Session 03

Fundamentals

The goal was to continue to work on his fundaments. His concentration on the drills and the instruction were a little off. Tons of hoopers so we played. He expressed that he needs to play better defense. We focused on cutting, defense and making a decision. He did fantastic. I owe him two gatorades.

We started off doing some drills however in order to maintain Ro's focus and peak curiosity we played 2 v 2 with Trey. The cool part about this was Ro had to lead and he did a great job.

We shot around. There was a young hooper. I encouraged Ro to go down and ask him to hoop. We played various games. We had some time constraints and also a target number. Ro's teammate was more experience so his role changed which was really cool.
