Evaluation

Josh has done a solid job in his first season, especially with his on-ball defense and the encouragement he brings to the huddle. His next step is getting more reps, learning the game by playing and watching basketball, and developing a “superpower” he can rely on every day—whether that becomes his handles, shooting, or defense. As he continues to improve, he should keep supporting his teammates and building trust while putting in the extra work needed to contribute more.

Implementation

For implementation, Josh should spend 10–15 minutes a day developing one main strength while continuing to get reps in the other parts of his game. He should watch 10–15 minutes of basketball a few times each week and focus on how players move, defend, and make decisions. In practice, his goal should be to stay engaged, keep communicating, and use those daily reps to earn more opportunities to help the team.
